Job Summary:
The Pool Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional service to club members and their guests by preparing beverages, maintaining a clean and organized pool bar, and ensuring that all members' needs are met in a fast-paced environment. This position requires excellent multitasking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a high-energy setting. The ideal candidate will be proactive, friendly, and dedicated to upholding the high standards of the club while providing a memorable poolside experience.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Beverage Preparation & Service:
  • Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages to members and guests.
  • Ensure that all drinks are made to the club's specifications, with appropriate garnishes and presentation.
  • Take and fulfill drink orders promptly while maintaining excellent service.

Stocking:
  • Prepare and organize fruit garnishes and pool bar essentials before and during shifts.
  • Stock the pool bar with necessary supplies and monitor inventory throughout the shift.
  • Maintain the pool bar's stock levels and assist in restocking as needed.

Bar Cleanliness & Maintenance:
  • Keep the pool bar area clean and organized.
  • Regularly remove trash and ensure sanitation standards are met.
  • Ensure all equipment is cleaned and sanitized properly.

Customer Service & Member Relations:
  • Provide excellent customer service by anticipating members and guests' needs and making recommendations.
  • Maintain a friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor.
  • Monitor poolside areas to ensure member and guests' satisfaction.

Water Station & Member Needs:
  • Keep water stations fully stocked and accessible.
  • Offer water to members proactively during hot weather or peak pool times.

Multitasking & Staying Busy During Slow Times:
  • Stay organized and focused in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clean the pool bar area, restock supplies, and assist team members as needed.
  • Anticipate busy periods and prepare accordingly.

Other Duties as Assigned:
  • Assist in setting up or breaking down the pool bar area for special events.
  • Follow all club policies, safety protocols, and service standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
Previous bartending experience, preferably in a high-end hospitality or poolside setting.
Excellent multitasking skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of drink recipes and cocktail preparation.
Strong attention to detail and organization.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry items, including trays and beverage supplies, up to 40 pounds.
This position is based primarily outdoors and requires working in varying weather conditions.
Must be able to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods.

If disciplinary action must be taken, the bartender must act in the best interest of the club and membership.
