Job description

Job Description:
The Service Technician for Sweetwater Pool Service is the front-man and face of the company. He or she is responsible for carrying out the regular maintenance duties that Sweetwater has been hired to do by our customers. Delivering consistent and high quality service to each of our customers is of the upmost concern for this position. Driving a company vehicle to each of our commercial or residential clients, the Service Technician will be working outdoors and assisting our clients with their swimming pool needs. This role is key to leaving a lasting impression with each customer, and is also key in maintaining client relationships by upholding our high standards for customer service. This position is both physically demanding and mentally challenging. This position begins as seasonal for 6 months. Full-time status with benefits may be awarded after that time.

Position Details:

  • No experience required.
  • Pay range is hourly at $15 - $21 per hour (Seasonal is $18/hr, full-time after 6 months is $21/hr)
  • Base wage of $15/hr to start with a $3/hr bonus for each hour worked.
  • Full-time base wage is $16/hr with a $5/hr bonus for each hour worked.
  • Average 35-50 hours per week
  • Clock in time is 7am. Most days finished by 5pm.
  • 10-hour days average (35-50 hrs per week)
  • Paid training is provided at $15/hr
  • Weekends off (Saturdays voluntary)
  • Many advancement and pay raise opportunities

Required Qualifications:

  • Legal ability to work in the United States.
  • Reliable transportation to work.
  • A working and reliable cell phone.
  • Ability to pass a drug test.
  • A valid GA driver's license.
  • No DUI convictions in last 5 years
  • Monday – Friday Availability

Work Environment:

  • Outdoors all day
  • Work takes place regardless heat, cold, humidity, or rain
  • Paid 30-minute lunch break
  • Drive company vehicle with A/C between properties.
  • Work is independent once training is finished

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Basic pump and filter maintenance
  • Vacuuming/Skimming/Brushing pools
  • Maintaining chemical levels
  • Maintaining salt systems/chlorine generators
  • Interacting with homeowners on a daily basis in a professional manner

Physical Demands:

  • Lift up to 100lbs, sit, kneel, stand for long periods, jump, squat, crawl, reach, and drive a vehicle for extended periods, carry heavy equipment for distances up to 100 yards.
