What You'll Do:
  • Conduct maintenance work, requiring moderate skill levels on all associate equipment on a packaging line, including mixing operation.
  • Lubricate, adjust, and clean packaging machine.
  • Maintain and set up machinery on the packaging line.
  • Examine poly to ensure that the correct poly is being applied to the designated product and lot.
  • Examine the cartons to ensure that the cartons are printing according to buyer's specifications.
  • Maintain proper palletizing of the finished cases using slip sheets when necessary.
  • Inspect and compare pallet tickets against pallet load to ensure accuracy.
  • Responsible for all line reporting by computer or paper.
  • Supervise the Line Personnel on his/her respective line.
  • Assist in training new Line employees and/or new Machine Operators.
  • Responsible for work accomplished by the personnel in the Frozen Packaging Department.
  • Adhere to all Lakeside Foods policies and procedures.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring:
  • High school diploma or GED, preferred.
  • Previous Quality Control experience preferred.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Basic math function.
  • Able to work independently with little or no supervision.
  • Ability to maintain proper confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Safety mindset.
