Job description

Our client is the prime of a sole source contract. They are seeking an experienced NiFi Engineer to build, manage and optimize complex data flows and pipelines. This role involves design, developing, cluster administration, data integration, and troubleshooting.
Qualified candidates will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, systems engineering, or software development focusing on data pipelines.
- In-depth hands-on experience with Apache NiFi.
- Experience with NiFi Registry, Linux/Unix CLI, and scripting in Python, Bash, or Java.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases, big data tools (Spark, Hadoop, Elasticsearch), and cloud services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Clearance: Active TS/SCI + FS Poly required.
This work is 100% onsite in Ashburn-VA. It requires an active TS/SCI + FS Poly government clearance. In addition to strong salaries, they provide 100% employer paid Medical and Dental insurance as well as provide an HRA to cover deductibles. They offer 4 weeks PTO + 10 federal holidays and a 3% 401K with the potential for up to 10% matching.
