Job description

Civil EngineerIntroduction:

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for site development, site master planning, underground utility routing, hydrology analysis, gravitational wastewater system design, final grading plans, erosion and sediment control plans, and stormwater analysis. They will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adhere to local jurisdiction requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Site development, site master planning, and site selection
  • Underground utility routing and site space planning
  • Hydrology analysis for designing storm drain systems
  • Designing gravitational wastewater systems
  • Performing final grading plans including cut and fill analysis
  • Providing erosion and sediment control plans, stormwater pollution prevention plans
  • Researching and adhering to local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements
  • Stormwater analysis and modeling in software applications such as StormCAD, CivilStorm
Requirements:Required Skills:
  • PE license
  • Advanced AutoCAD Civil 3D skills
  • Experience in stormwater analysis/modeling using StormCAD and/or CivilStorm
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced team environment
  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Preferred Skills:
  • Data Center experience
  • Experience in space planning
  • Electrical Engineering knowledge
  • Mechanical Engineering knowledge
  • Experience in project management
  • Modeling skills
  • Routing expertise
