Job Description:

Parsons is looking for both an amazingly talented Sr. Irregular Warfare Analyst to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Provides analytic support to Operations in the Information Environment (OIE) by examining irregular, non-conventional, and influence-driven threat activities that shape competition, crisis, and conflict.

  • Analyzes insurgent, proxy, and unconventional warfare behaviors, focusing on how adversaries leverage information, population dynamics, and socio-political conditions to achieve strategic effects.

  • Conducts in-depth analysis of adversary capabilities, intent, networks, and methods, including influence operations, subversion, coercion, and exploitation of local grievances.

  • Integrates intelligence, open-source reporting, and operational data to assess how irregular actors shape perceptions, legitimacy, and behavior within the information environment.

  • Provides actionable insights that inform OIE Estimates, Target Audience Analysis (TAA), COA development, targeting, and assessment, enabling planners to anticipate adversary actions and identify opportunities to counter or disrupt irregular strategies.

  • Evaluates vulnerabilities and leverage points across political, social, economic, and informational systems relevant to IW campaigns.

  • Collaborates closely with J39 planners, intelligence analysts, assessment teams, and interagency partners to ensure IW analysis is integrated into campaign design, influence planning, and risk assessment.

  • Supports strategic warning, plan adaptation, and long-term campaigning by monitoring emerging irregular threats and shifts in the operating environment

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelors degree and 13+ years experience. Years of comparable experience can be used in lieu of degree. (HS diploma 17+ years, Associates 15+ years, Masters 10+ years)
  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI clearance or higher
