Description -

To enable the company's accelerated growth, HP is looking seeking a team-oriented professional with experience in all phases of the acquisition and divestiture process to join the Corporate Development team. This individual will report to the Senior Vice President and Global Head of Corporate Development & Ventures and lead transactions and work closely with senior leaders to establish and drive M&A strategy, priorities, and deal execution.
Responsibilities
  • Lead all aspects of deal execution, including target identification and engagement, structuring, valuation, business model assessment, negotiation, due diligence, risk analysis, and deal approval process.
  • Establish relationships and partner with executives, managers, and contributors across our Global Business Units to develop inorganic strategies and execution plans.
  • Cultivate and manage a deal pipeline in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external groups such as investment banks and advisors.
  • Apply rigor, financial acumen and strategic business insight to support executive decision making. Evaluate strategic fit, risks, synergies, and value creation opportunities across potential transactions.
  • Lead cross-functional due diligence teams to evaluate risks and synergy opportunities.
  • Oversee the internal review and approval process with C-level executives and Board members.
  • Collaborate with the M&A integration team to ensure seamless transition from deal execution to value realization.
  • Help evolve Corporate Development processes, playbooks, and best practices to improve speed, consistency, and execution quality.
  • Leverage AI tools and advanced analytics to improve research, market intelligence, financial analysis, and knowledge management.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record managing complex projects.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a buy-side transactional role (e.g., corporate development or private equity).
  • Preferred experience within major corporations, along with a background in investment banking, or consulting.
