Job description

Healthcare Construction Assistant Superintendent

We are seeking an energetic and selfโ€‘motivated Assistant Superintendent to join our team.

5+ yearsโ€™ experience in commercial construction, preferably in an Assistant Superintendent role.

  • Healthcare construction experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction and renovation of building structures
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principals involved in production of technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models
  • Understanding of ICRA requirements
  • Functional understanding of scheduling software and practices
  • Specific understanding of working electrical and mechanical systems
  • Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with all levels of individuals including subcontractors, laborers, owner, peers, and supervisors
  • Detailโ€‘oriented with the capacity to learn quickly
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret plans and drawings
  • Ability to oversee safe work practices to ensure adherence to OSHA guidelines
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project activities within time constraints of detailed schedule
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
