Job Summary
The Policy Services Supervisor oversees day-to-day policy service operations within the Commercial Enterprise Department. This role ensures accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in policy servicing while providing guidance and support to Underwriting Technicians and team leads.
Work Location
Office
This position is an in-office role located in West Bend, Madison or Appleton, WI. No remote opportunities for this position are available at this time.
Hybrid
This position offers a hybrid work schedule. Candidates who are located within 50 miles of a West Bend office location will work a hybrid schedule for collaboration days, team meetings or other in-person events. The position will be based in West Bend, WI.
The internal deadline to apply is 8/14/26. External applications will be accepted on a rolling basis while the position remains open.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and support Underwriting Technicians and team leads in completing policy service tasks.
  • Monitor daily workflows to ensure adherence to quality and service standards.
  • Assist in identifying training needs and deliver hands-on training for team members.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to improve individual and team performance.
  • Implement established workflows and suggest improvements for efficiency.
  • Coordinate with IT and Product Development teams on automation issues as directed by the manager.
  • Track productivity and quality metrics; report results to the Policy Services Manager.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and recommend personnel actions such as promotions or salary adjustments.
  • Participate in hiring and onboarding of new team members.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Preferred Experience and Skills
  • 5 years underwriting processing experience
  • 1 year of leadership experience
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of personal computers
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Supervisory and mentoring skills

Preferred Education and Training
  • Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business or related field
  • Associate in General Insurance designation
