Purpose Statement
We're looking for a proactive Group Leader, who thrives on keeping operations running seamlessly. If you're energized by organizing complex inventory, coaching a team, and ensuring the warehouse operates like a well-oiled machine, this role is for you.
Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
  • Oversee the accurate receiving, handling, labeling, and storage of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
  • Supervise the safe and efficient loading and unloading of freight, ensuring proper documentation and legal compliance.
  • Monitor inventory levels, validate shipments against invoices, and report discrepancies or damages.
  • Ensure warehouse equipment is functioning properly and escalate issues as needed.
  • Leadership & Team Development
  • Assign daily tasks and guide warehouse staff to meet operational goals.
  • Provide training, coaching, and cross-shift support to build skills and ensure smooth coverage when supervisors are absent.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, efficiency, and safety across the team.
  • Must be willing to work in a freezer environment at -20F degrees F.
  • Ability to train and mentor new associates on safe forklift operation; certification experience strongly preferred
  • Ensure all operations align with food safety, quality, and company standards.
  • Maintain proper labeling, tagging, and storage practices in compliance with warehousing norms.
  • Support internal and external audits as needed.
  • Coordination & Communication
  • Partner with suppliers, shipping, transportation, and cold storage facilities to coordinate deliveries and outbound loads.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Required:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of experience in food processing, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing, preferably operating computerized equipment
  • Minimum 3 years of hands on forklift experience, preferably with Crown equipment
  • Proficiency operating sit down forklifts, extended reach lifts, and electric riding pallet jacks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel

Desired:
  • Experience with SAP, Syspro, riteSCAN, and RF scanners
  • Advanced coursework or certifications in manufacturing, food safety, or related fields
  • Prior experience as a certified forklift trainer

COMPENSATION
In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.
Annual Range/Hourly Rate
$28.00 - $30.00
