Job description

Hourly wage PLUS TIPS.

  • Deals various Poker games in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Opens and closes assigned Poker tables.
  • Monitors and maintains card control, chip control, and other elements of Poker gaming integrity.
  • Interacts with guests as needed in order to ensure high quality games.
  • Responds to complaints, mediates disputes, and provides professional and positive guest interactions.
  • Advises Poker Shift Manager or Floor Representative of any customer service issues.
  • Answers questions concerning the poker room, game rules, promotions, and casino policies.
  • Provides professional and positive guest interactions.
  • Provides excellent customer service to all guests.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Poker School Certification preferred.
  • No prior poker experience is required; however, at least 1+ years of poker dealing experience preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain the appropriate state occupational license.
  • Strong knowledge of poker rules in order to appropriately apply those rules during poker games.
  • Ability to pass a poker rules table test/audition.
  • Ability to Explain and operate Poker game play and tournament play.
  • Ability to handle cards and chips appropriately.
  • Proven customer service skills.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English in both verbal and written form.
  • Must have keen attention to detail and the ability to correct mistakes.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.
