The opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is searching for full-time and part-time Security Supervisors to join our team at Orange City Poker Room in Orange City, Florida. If your talents would lend to skilfully carrying supervision and management of the Security Department operations in the absence of the Assistant Director and Director, this could be the next play for you. What will you do?
  • Supervise security officers on an assigned shifts
  • Check identification for gaming floor admittance, greeting guests and vendors positively and professionally
  • Maintain crowd control, ensuring a friendly environment and defusing guest profanity
  • Conduct cash escorts as required
  • Investigate incidents and compose written reports, as well as observing, handling, and reporting procedural violations and illegal activity
More about you
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Gaming background or previous security supervisory, law enforcement or related experience is beneficial
  • Pass a drug screen
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule with minimum supervision
Physical requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, as well as capacity to bend, lift, and carry
  • Ability to communicate via two-way radio
  • Unrestricted vision to perform duties day or night
  • Occasionally working in a smoky and loud environment
