Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a General Manager at our cigar lounge in Miami Beach, FL. The General Manager will oversee daily operations, ensure excellent customer service, manage staff, optimize financial performance, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety. Responsibilities include staff training, beverage program, inventory management, and resolving customer inquiries and complaints.
Qualifications – General Manager (Luxury Cigar Lounge)
Extensive Experience in Luxury Hospitality Management
Minimum 5–7 years of progressive leadership experience in high-end hospitality settings, such as cigar lounges, private clubs, luxury hotels, or upscale restaurants.
In-depth understanding of premium cigars, including origins, blends, storage, and cutting/lighting etiquette. A genuine passion for cigar culture is essential.
Strong background in managing sophisticated beverage programs, including fine spirits, wine, and cocktail curation. Experience in pairing cigars with beverages is highly preferred.
Proven ability to recruit, train, and lead a service-focused team. Capable of creating a culture of professionalism, hospitality, and continuous improvement.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure an elevated and personalized guest experience that reflects a luxury environment.
Skilled in budgeting, inventory management, vendor relations, and achieving financial targets while maintaining top-tier service and ambiance.
Familiarity with U.S. health, safety, and tobacco regulations. Ensures the lounge operates within all legal and compliance frameworks.
Experience with launching or promoting upscale venues. Ability to build local clientele through community involvement, private events, and loyalty programs.
