Position Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Medical Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide clinical and administrative support across multiple clinic locations as needed. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety in their workday, and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care.


Key Responsibilities


  • Provide both clinical and front office support across assigned locations.
  • Room patients, obtain vital signs, and accurately document medical history.
  • Perform chart preparation, including reviewing patient records, updating information, and ensuring completeness prior to appointments.
  • Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments.
  • Administer injections, medications, and vaccinations per protocol.
  • Perform basic lab procedures, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked exam rooms.
  • Support front desk duties such as check-in/check-out and scheduling when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and clinic policies.
  • Adapt quickly to varying workflows, teams, and patient populations.
  • Performs related duties as required.


Travel Requirements


  • Travel between multiple clinic locations within the designated service area.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel daily is required.

Requirements

  • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant with a nationally recognized accreditation organization or graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program
  • Two years+ of experience as a Medical Assistant
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Must be willing to travel to two other CLS Health locations (Pasadena & Pearland)
  • Experience in a medical office or customer service environment preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance billing preferred
