POI SOP Writer, (SEART) Kuala Lumpar, Malaysia
Southeast Asia Regional Training Project (SEART)
**This role is contingent upon contract award**
V2X is seeking a POI/SOP Writer to support curriculum development and event documentation under the SEART program. Based in Kuala Lumpur, this role works closely with the Deputy PM/Lead Instructor, SMEs, and the Operations & Logistics Coordinator to develop Programs of Instruction (POIs), training materials, and draft CONOPS/SOP content that meet DTRA Chemical Security Programs (CSP) Domains, Competencies, and Proficiencies (DCP) requirements. The position also supports event planning and ensures contract deliverables and training materials are produced and delivered on schedule.
Job Description:
• Design, develop, and deliver classroom training, workshops, Train the Trainer (T3) events, and exercises (TTX/CPX/FTX) aligned with the DTRA Chemical Security Program.
• Develop Programs of Instruction (POIs), curricula, slide decks, instructor guides, student materials, scenarios, and assessments using a structured instructional design methodology (e.g., ADDIE).
• Design Train the Trainer (T3) and Take Home packages.
• Plan, support, and participate in regional symposiums.
• Willingness and ability to be based in Kuala Lumpur and travel frequently (approx. 50-70%) throughout Southeast Asia.
Material & Equipment Used:
MS Office products, Generative AI, instructional materials.
Working Environment:
Office and classroom environment, limited field time supporting chemical security hands on exercises. Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malasia with travel to Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Physical Activities:
Light lifting, ability to navigate public transportation.
Education/Certifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business, education, political science, international affairs. Can be waived with 8 yrs experience.
Experience:
• 8-10 years of experience in chemical security, CBRN defense, hazardous materials management, chemical forensics, or related fields.
• Platform Instructor Experience.
• Desired: DTRA, Military, DHS, FBI, DoS, Interagency experience
Skills & Technology Used:
• Typical Office products including Office 360, Generative AI such as GPT or Gemini
