Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Wellington and our Jupiter FL, for a Podiatry/Primary Care Medical Assistant. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting the provider with patient care, preparing medical records, and managing medical office tasks. Day-to-day tasks include taking patient histories, performing basic foot care procedures, and ensuring accurate documentation in medical records.


Qualifications

  • Open and willing to assist with Primary care and Podiatry care
  • Wound Care, assisting with nail procedures, cast and splint care
  • Rooming patients, vitals, collecting history, medication reconciliations, injections, blood draws, etc
  • Medical Assisting and Patient Care skills
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology
  • Experience with Medical Records management
  • Proficiency in Medical Office tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Athena experience is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in Medical Assisting is a plus
  • Previous experience in a podiatry or medical office setting is beneficial
