Job Description – Travel OR Circulator RN
Location: Valparaiso, Indiana 46383
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks
Pay: $70 hrly
Shift: Days (6:45 AM – 5:15 PM) + on-call requirements
Guaranteed Hours: 72 bi-weekly (96 bi-weekly not available)
RTO: Maximum 2 days; blackout dates and required holidays apply
Floating: Not required
Block Scheduling: Not available

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Circulator RN for an urgent-need travel assignment in Valparaiso, Indiana. This role is ideal for a highly skilled OR nurse with strong open-heart experience who can step into a busy surgical environment with confidence.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Circulate in Open Heart and General surgical cases

  • Support additional specialties including Ortho, Neuro, DaVinci Robot, GYN, Podiatry

  • Assist with room turnover, stocking, and maintaining a safe, efficient OR environment

  • Participate in scheduled on-call rotations

  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative staff

  • Follow established protocols and maintain accuracy in documentation (Cerner EMR)


Requirements:
  • Active Indiana RN license

  • ACLS and BLS required

  • Open Heart experience required

  • Minimum 2 years of recent OR Circulator experience

  • Proficiency with Ortho, Neuro, DaVinci, General, GYN, and Podiatry cases preferred

  • Ability to work the listed shift and adhere to RTO limitations
