Are you passionate about skincare and patient care? Were looking for a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our dynamic dermatology practice with multiple offices in Indianapolis.
Key responsibilities may include:
  • Patient intake: Greeting patients, and taking medical histories.
  • Exam room preparation: Setting up exam rooms with necessary supplies and ensuring proper sanitation.
  • Assisting with procedures: Helping the dermatologist during skin exams, biopsies, mole removals, lesion excisions, and cosmetic procedures like Botox injections and chemical peels.
  • Specimen collection: Preparing and labeling skin samples for laboratory analysis.
  • Patient education: Informing patients about skin conditions, treatment options, post-procedure care instructions, and sun protection practices.
  • Scribing and Documentation: Accurately recording patient details, medical histories, examination findings, and treatment plans in electronic medical records.
  • Scheduling appointments: Managing patient schedules and coordinating follow-up appointments.
