Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Podiatrist Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our podiatrist in providing high-quality foot care services to residents in nursing home facilities. This is a travel position, and you will be expected to work part-time in various facilities within the area.

Requirements

        Assist the podiatrist in providing foot care services to residents, including nail care, callus removal, and wound care.

        Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all necessary equipment is sterilized and ready for use.

        Escort residents to and from the treatment area and assist them in a courteous and professional manner.

        Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

        Provide support to the podiatrist during procedures and treatments.

        Medical Assistant certification or CNA license required.

        Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

        Willingness to travel to different facilities as needed.
