Pandora, a subsidiary of SiriusXM, is the largest ad-supported audio entertainment streaming service in the U.S. SiriusXM's subsidiaries Simplecast and AdsWizz make it a leader in podcast hosting, production, distribution, analytics and monetization. The Company's advertising sales organization, which operates as SXM Media, leverages its scale, cross-platform sales organization and ad tech capabilities to deliver results for audio creators and advertisers. SiriusXM, through Sirius XM Canada Holdings, Inc., also offers satellite radio and audio entertainment in Canada. In addition to its audio entertainment businesses, SiriusXM offers connected vehicle services to automakers.

SiriusXM Media is the gateway for marketers to the largest digital audio advertising ecosystem in North America. As the combined advertising revenue organization of Sirius XM Holdings Inc., SiriusXM Media spans across leading owned and operated audio platforms Pandora and SiriusXM; innovative ad tech solutions powered by AdsWizz; sonic creative consultancy Studio Resonate; and an extended content network featuring exclusive monetization agreements with Audiochuck, NBCUniversal, SoundCloud, and many more. AdsWizz, a subsidiary of SiriusXM, is the leading global provider of digital audio and podcast advertising solutions. AdsWizz is the underlying monetization solution for well-known music platforms, podcasts, and broadcasting groups worldwide, giving advertisers of all sizes unprecedented access to premium and niche audio content. AdsWizz is a global company with a presence in over 40 countries.

How you'll make an impact:

We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager, Ad Technology to lead large, complex, cross-functional initiatives across Ads Engineering. This role is critical to driving execution of high-impact programs spanning serving systems, data platforms, monetization workflows, and cross-domain integrations with Pandora and broader SiriusXM systems. The TPM will partner closely with engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency, and efficient delivery while strengthening prioritization, dependency management, and execution rigor across teams.

This is an individual contributor role requiring strong technical depth, systems thinking, and exceptional communication skills. The ideal candidate will proactively identify and mitigate systemic risks across architecture, infrastructure, and data flows to safeguard platform reliability and delivery outcomes. Success in this role will enable AdsWizz to scale globally through the delivery of robust, high-performance advertising platform capabilities that directly support monetization and business growth.

What you'll do:

Program Leadership & Execution:
  • Own end-to-end delivery of large-scale Ads Engineering initiatives, from intake through launch.
  • Define program structure, milestones, interdependencies, and success metrics.
  • Coordinate across multiple engineering teams to ensure cohesive execution across ad-serving systems, data pipelines, and platform services.
  • Lead cross-domain program reviews and executive updates.
Strategic Alignment & Decision Support:
  • Partner with engineering and product leadership to prioritize initiatives based on business impact and technical feasibility.
  • Clearly articulate tradeoffs, risks, and execution options to support fast, informed decision-making.
  • Influence roadmap alignment across Ads, Pandora, and related domains.
Technical Depth & Systems Thinking:
  • Apply strong architectural literacy to evaluate system design implications and cross-team dependencies.
  • Review technical designs, challenge assumptions, and proactively identify downstream impacts.
  • Anticipate long-term platform risks and scalability constraints.
Operational Excellence:
  • Drive improvements in intake, prioritization, and release processes using tools such as Jira.
  • Enhance transparency around delivery status, risks, and cross-team dependencies.
  • Establish scalable program management best practices across Ads Engineering.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Serve as the connective layer between Engineering, Product, Quality, Operations, and external stakeholders.
  • Support launch planning, operational readiness, and post-launch learnings.
  • Provide clear escalation pathways to remove execution blockers quickly.

What you'll need:

  • 5+ years of technical program management experience leading complex, enterprise-scale initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience in advertising technology, including familiarity with ad-serving systems, real-time bidding, monetization platforms, data pipelines, and analytics systems.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems and large-scale platform architecture.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional programs with multiple engineering teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience driving delivery across tightly coupled systems with complex interdependencies.
  • Executive-level communication skills with the ability to influence without authority.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and using tooling such as Jira to manage engineering workflows. Experience in digital audio or media platforms.
  • Experience managing vendor or third-party technology integrations.
  • Experience operating in high-availability, real-time systems environments.
  • Exposure to global or multi-region engineering organizations.
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $137,800 to $170,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience.
