Part-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (PNPs) often face challenges such as maintaining continuity of care for patients, staying updated with changes in protocols, and integrating smoothly with full-time staff schedules. To manage these challenges, it's important to establish clear communication with the healthcare team, leverage electronic health record systems for seamless patient updates, and participate in regular team meetings, even if virtually. Building strong relationships with colleagues can also help PNPs stay informed about departmental changes and provide quality care despite working fewer hours.
