Job description

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
 
Location; Seattle, WA
 
JOB DESCRIPTION
 
We are seeking a hands-on Senior Project Manager who can confidently lead the Clinical Technology Services (CTS) workstream of an in-flight complex, large-scale hospital construction and move project leading cross-functional teams, ensuring operational readiness, and driving stakeholder alignment.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 

  • Develop comprehensive CTS workstream project plan and schedule, refining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements; provide input to IS Program Lead for overall plan and schedule.
  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams including project managers, Service Line Team members, executive leadership, and external vendors.
  • Assist in managing overall project budget by providing CTS workstream input on labor costs and reporting financial performance to IS Program Lead and key stakeholders.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure operational readiness and smooth project execution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for CTS workstream stakeholders, executives, and vendors, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Oversee execution quality, ensuring deliverables meet organizational standards, requirements, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Resolve conflicts, address critical issues, and facilitate decision-making across teams.
  • Monitor procurement activity, resource allocation, vendor engagement, and sequencing of activities.
  • Conduct post-project or phase evaluations, document lessons learned and help to implement process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate project related data and adhere to workstream, program, and vendor reporting requirements.

 
QUALIFICATIONS
 
Required Education & Certifications
 

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) strongly preferred.
  • Nice to have: Bachelor's degree or higher in Healthcare, Engineering or Construction Management.

 
Required Skills and Qualifications
 

  • 10+ years in progressively responsible roles.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, including Gantt charts, resource tracking, and reporting systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Teams, Planner, Excel, and Copilot.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects or workstreams simultaneously and coordinate across departments.
  • Vendor management.

 
Preferred Qualifications
 

  • Experience working within large healthcare systems, hospital activations, and/or new building construction.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and executive‐level communication skills.
  • Detail‐oriented, with the ability to create and maintain complex documentation, schedules, presentations, and other program artifacts.
