Responsibilities for Diesel Technicians / Mechanics
  • Ensuring vehicles are maintained and safe for customers and drivers
  • Interact with customers and handle requests
  • Using basic computer skills to track and enter repair data
  • Performing preventative maintenance on trucks and trailer equipment
  • Repairing and troubleshooting components such as engines, transmissions and chassis components
  • Keep work area clean and safe
  • Perform vehicle diagnostics
  • Learn new skills through Truckway’s technician training
  • Pick up and/or deliver equipment for maintenance
Qualifications Diesel Technicians / Mechanics
  • Preferred experiences as a Diesel Technician
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • Preferred One year of Fleet or Dealership experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Teammate with a strong sense of dedication to the customer and service team
  • Self-motivated and professional
  • Class A CDL a plus
