Job description

Collaborate with Treasury Operations, Product Owners, Payment Operations, Compliance, Risk, and technology teams to align priorities, scope, and outcomes
Gather, analyze, document, and validate functional, non-functional, integration, and reporting requirements
Translate business needs into epics, user stories, workflow diagrams, and acceptance criteria in Jira
Map current and future payment workflows across Wires, RTP, FedNow, and ACH
Identify automation opportunities, improve efficiency, and reduce operational risk
Partner with Solution Architects, Software Engineers, and Integration teams on APIs, middleware, core banking, fraud systems, and ERPs
Maintain backlog refinement and participate in standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Ensure end-to-end requirement traceability from design through implementation
Support SIT, UAT, parallel testing, and production readiness activities
Assist QA teams with test scenarios, defect analysis, and root-cause resolution
Ensure requirements incorporate regulatory controls, auditability, segregation of duties, and security standards

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of Business Analysis experience in banking, enterprise financial services, or fintech
  • Hands-on experience supporting payment programs, treasury operations, transaction processing, or core banking ecosystem transformations
  • Strong expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience gathering requirements, writing detailed user stories, and maintaining backlogs in Jira/Confluence
  • Proficiency in process mapping and workflow visualization using Visio, Lucidchart, or similar platforms
  • Proven experience facilitating workshops and review sessions
  • Ability to bridge communication between non-technical business stakeholders and technical engineering teams
  • Ability to commit to a hybrid schedule with 3 days on-site and 2 days remote in Miami Lakes, FL
  • Nice to have: experience with payment modernization, FedNow, RTP, SWIFT, or FedWire
  • Nice to have: knowledge of ISO 20022
  • Nice to have: familiarity with Finzly, Fiserv, Actimize, or FircoSoft
  • Nice to have: understanding of APIs, microservices, cloud integration, and database data mapping
  • Nice to have: CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSPO, or CSM certification
