Job description

Professional Door Host / Doorman – Upscale Hospitality Group
PMac’s Hospitality | Midtown Manhattan, NYC

PMac’s Hospitality is currently hiring polished, professional, and well-presented Door Hosts for multiple upscale bar and restaurant locations throughout Midtown Manhattan (10019 & 10036).

We are seeking hospitality-focused individuals with excellent people skills, strong awareness, and a welcoming personality. This is not a traditional “bouncer” position. Our establishments prioritize guest experience, professionalism, hospitality, and presentation.

Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Compensation

  • Starting at $30+ per hour
  • Compensation based on experience, qualifications, and availability

Requirements

  • Valid and current New York State Security Guard License
  • Weekend and nighttime availability required
  • Professional appearance and polished demeanor
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to remain calm, attentive, and professional in high-volume environments
  • Prior hospitality, nightlife, hotel, or guest-facing security experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival
  • Open doors and assist guests entering and exiting the venue
  • Check IDs and monitor entry procedures professionally
  • Maintain an upscale and positive entrance experience
  • Provide directions, recommendations, and neighborhood information to tourists and visitors
  • Promote awareness of other PMac’s Hospitality establishments
  • Wish guests well upon departure and create a memorable final impression
  • Communicate effectively with management and security teams when needed
