Essential Job Duties
This overall function of this position is to utilize a standard cleaning assignment to clean and sanitize an area of responsibility within a building. The position is also responsible for reporting discrepancies found within the building in addition to responding to emergencies and inclement weather.
The position will use standard housekeeping equipment to accomplish assigned tasks. Utilize standard housekeeping equipment, tools and supplies to accomplish basic cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, dusting, disinfecting, and replenishing. Remove recycling from centralized indoor recycling sites.
Other Responsibilities
Perform snow and ice removal within a team environment during inclement weather, in addition to coordinating with coworkers during group response to emergencies. Perform team cleaning tasks and projects during breaks and when space is accessible.
May be required to periodically strip and refinish floors, as well as shampoo and extract carpets. Periodic pressure washing of entrances, exterior walls, and windows may be required. Seasonal window washing may be required.
May be required to fill in for absenteeism outside of assigned area.
