Description

Schedule and dispatch HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and Drain technicians, or installers, to our customers for service. Duties may include using telephone, or computer to transmit information and reports on work progress. The critical element to proper dispatching is getting the "right" technician to each specific job.


TASKS:

Monitor personnel or equipment locations and utilization to coordinate service and schedules.

Schedule or dispatch technicians to appropriate locations, according to customer requests, specifications, or needs.

Oversee all communications with customer.

Relay work orders, messages, or information to or from technicians, supervisors, or field inspectors.

Confer with customers or supervising personnel to address questions, problems, or requests for service or equipment.

Prepare daily work schedules to ensure the right technician is going to the right job.

Record and maintain files or records of customer requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses, inventory, or other dispatch information.

Receive or prepare work orders.

Advise personnel about traffic problems, such as construction areas, accidents, congestion, weather conditions, or other hazards.

Ensure timely and efficient movement of technicians.

Requirements

  • 2+ YEARS experience dispatching (preferably in the residential service industry)
  • Proficient in MS Office, and ability to catch on to new programs quickly
  • Service Titan experience a huge plus!
  • Experience in residential service techs dispatching a plus
  • Ability to work extended hours up to 8:00 pm
