As a Security Officer Emergency Response Dispatcher in Newark, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Security Professional at a financial institution, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, document incidents, and support timely responses to security-related needs. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institution location.
  • Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service, alarms, and incident reports to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
  • Monitor communications systems, access control alerts, and video surveillance feeds, escalating unusual activity according to site-specific procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and coordinate communication with site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident documentation, and shift activity records while supporting regular and random patrol activity around the business and perimeter.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
