Job description

We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Manager to lead and grow a highperforming residential plumbing department at our partner location near Fort Wayne, Indiana. This is a handson leadership role for a proven operations leader who understands how to scale residential service teams, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and develop strong technicians and supervisors.

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead daytoday operations for the residential plumbing department, including field technicians and support staff
  • Partner closely with the General Manager to achieve revenue, margin, and operational performance goals
  • Collaborate with Dispatch to optimize scheduling, route efficiency, capacity planning, and daily productivity
  • Ensure all plumbing work meets company quality standards, safety requirements, and brand expectations
  • Coach, mentor, and develop plumbing technicians through regular performance feedback and training
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and retention of top residential plumbing talent
  • Handle escalated customer issues with professionalism, urgency, and a solutionsfocused mindset
  • Maintain a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and company policies
  • Continuously improve processes, workflows, and customer experience across the plumbing operation
What We’re Looking For:
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience running a residential plumbing department
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop residential service plumbers and field teams
  • Strong understanding of residential service operations, dispatching, pricing, and workflow optimization
  • Experience managing KPIs such as revenue, labor efficiency, average ticket, callbacks, and customer satisfaction
  • Datadriven decisionmaker with strong problemsolving and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in the field as needed to support technicians and customers
Nice to Have:
  • Journeyman or Master Plumbing background
  • Experience scaling or modernizing residential plumbing operations
  • Familiarity with multilocation or highgrowth home services environments
