General Job Description
Bayonet Plumbing & HVAC is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Plumbing Area Manager to lead and oversee the operations of our plumbing services within a designated territory. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of plumbers, ensuring all projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, provide hands-on technical expertise, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of plumbers to meet individual and organizational goals.
  • Foster a positive team culture focused on performance, accountability, and professionalism.

Project Management
  • Coordinate and schedule plumbing service projects to ensure efficient allocation of labor and resources.
  • Monitor project timelines to ensure timely and accurate completion.

Quality Assurance
  • Oversee work quality and ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and company policies.
  • Ensure all work meets or exceeds customer expectations.

Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Address customer concerns promptly, professionally, and effectively.

Technical Expertise
  • Provide advanced technical support to plumbers on complex service issues.

Budget & Cost Control
  • Monitor project budgets, expenses, and profitability.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or safety.

Health & Safety Compliance
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct safety meetings, job-site audits, and ensure proper use of PPE.

Specific Qualifications
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a service plumber or residential plumbing technician, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Valid plumbing license if applicable to local and state regulations.
  • Strong technical knowledge of residential plumbing systems, codes, and equipment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency with project management software and digital tools.
  • Strong commitment to quality workmanship and safety practices.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
