About the Role

Quality Plumbing is looking for a motivated Apprentice Plumber to join our residential plumbing team in the Seattle area. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in the plumbing trade, learn from experienced plumbers, and be part of a company known for craftsmanship, integrity, and exceptional employee retention.

In this role, you'll work alongside licensed plumbers on high-end residential remodels, service calls, and smaller plumbing projects. You'll gain hands-on experience with water, waste, vent, gas piping, fixtures, tools, job site preparation, and the standards that have helped Quality Plumbing serve the Seattle area since 1978.

This position is ideal for someone who is reliable, hardworking, eager to learn, and serious about becoming a skilled plumber.

Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • No nights, weekends, or on-call work

Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed plumbers with residential remodels, service calls, and smaller plumbing projects
  • Help install, repair, and maintain water, waste, vent, fixture, and piping systems
  • Prepare tools, materials, and job sites for daily work
  • Learn to read plans, understand layouts, and follow project specifications
  • Support rough-in and trim plumbing work under the direction of licensed plumbers
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
  • Follow Washington plumbing code, safety practices, and Quality Plumbing standards
  • Communicate professionally with team members, clients, and other trades
  • Take direction well and show consistent progress in the trade
  • Represent the Quality Plumbing standard of care on every project

Qualifications

  • Washington plumber trainee certificate or active apprenticeship registration required, or willingness to obtain
  • Some plumbing, construction, mechanical, or hands-on trade experience preferred
  • Strong interest in building a long-term plumbing career
  • Reliable, honest, hardworking, and team-oriented
  • Willingness to learn, take direction, and ask good questions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to doing quality work
  • Comfortable working with tools and performing physical labor
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record preferred
  • Ability to commute to projects in and around Seattle, preferably north of the city
