Journeyman Plotter - Chattanooga
Shift: 1st shift
Summary:
The Journeyman Plotter is responsible for assisting the Plotter Operator with setting up and operating machinery.
How you will impact Smurfit Westrock:
  • Assist in machine setup and operation under supervision of a Plotter Operator.
  • Load and align materials accurately to ensure proper plotting.
  • Monitor machine performance and report malfunctions or irregularities promptly.
  • Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance tasks on plotting equipment.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of jobs completed and materials used.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and wear always required PPE.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a clean, organized work area.

What you need to succeed:
  • High school diploma or GED minimum.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Previous machine operating experience within a manufacturing environment
