Job description

About Radiant
Radiant is an El Segundo, CA-based startup building the world's first mass-produced, portable nuclear microreactors. The company's first reactor, Kaleidos, is a 1-megawatt, fail-safe microreactor that can be transported anywhere power is needed and run for up to 5 years without refueling. Portable nuclear power with rapid-deploy capability can replace similar-sized diesel generators and provide critical asset support for hospitals, data centers, remote sites, and military bases. Radiant's unique, practical approach to nuclear development leverages modern software engineering to rapidly deliver safe, factory-built microreactors that use existing, well-qualified materials. Founded in 2020, Radiant is on track to test its first reactor at the Idaho National Laboratory this summer, with initial customer deliveries beginning in 2028.
About the Role
Radiant is seeking an ERP Implementation Specialist to support the implementation, optimization, and scalability of enterprise systems used across manufacturing operations. This role bridges manufacturing processes with digital tools, helping build and improve the systems that support production planning, material flow, quality, traceability, and operational reporting.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience implementing ERP, MES, or manufacturing systems within hardware or industrial environments and understands how shop-floor workflows translate into scalable system solutions.
Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Partner with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, quality, and operations teams to map workflows and define system requirements.
  • Lead or support ERP/MES implementations, including requirements gathering, testing, rollout, training, and optimization.
  • Translate manufacturing processes into scalable system configurations that improve visibility, traceability, and execution.
  • Support enterprise system selection, implementation strategy, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend automation, standardization, and system improvements.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting that track manufacturing performance, schedule adherence, material readiness, and operational metrics.
  • Partner with IT and Software teams to support integrations across ERP, MES, PLM, and reporting systems.
  • Document workflows, configurations, and business requirements to support long-term scalability.

Deliverables
  • Support ERP/MES implementation projects from planning through deployment and adoption.
  • Build reporting and dashboards that provide visibility into manufacturing performance and readiness.
  • Improve data quality, system consistency, and process standardization across operations.
  • Develop scalable workflows that support production planning, inventory, quality, and operational reporting.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Manufacturing, Business, or related field.
  • 4-8 years of experience supporting ERP, MES, or manufacturing systems within hardware, industrial, aerospace, energy, or regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Hands-on ERP and/or MES implementation experience.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows including BOMs, routings, inventory, quality, and material flow.
  • Experience translating operational requirements into system solutions.
  • Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as Oracle, SAP, Dynamics, Epicor, Plex, Siemens Opcenter, or equivalent.
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Desired Qualifications & Skills:
  • Experience in highly regulated manufacturing environments.
  • ERP/MES integration experience.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience supporting change management and system adoption.

Additional Requirements:
  • Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as necessary to accomplish our mission.
  • Must work 100% onsite at El Segundo HQ.
