Job description

Partnerships & Business Development Manager

San Francisco, United States · Full-time · 5 to 9 years

What we are building

Every physical object you've touched today started life as a 3D model and had to become a set of 2D drawings before anyone could actually build it. That translation step is still mostly done by hand, and it's a bottleneck in nearly every engineering team we meet.

Hanomi.ai helps engineering and manufacturing teams automate the creation of production-ready technical drawings from 3D CAD models. We work with companies where technical drawings, GD&T, CAD data, and manufacturing documentation are central to how products move from design to production. The ecosystem sitting around that problem, service providers, engineering firms, CAD and PLM platforms, is wide open.

Where you come in

We're looking for a Partnerships & Business Development Manager based in San Francisco to help Hanomi build strategic relationships across the manufacturing and engineering ecosystem.

This role will focus on identifying and developing partnerships with manufacturing service providers, engineering firms, CAD and PLM ecosystem players, technology partners, resellers, and industry networks.

You’ll work closely with the founders to open new channels, build relationships, and create partnership opportunities that can support Hanomi’s growth.

What lands on your plate
  • Identify potential partners, including manufacturing companies, service providers, engineering firms, resellers, and technology partners
  • Build and manage relationships with strategic partners
  • Develop partnership proposals, collaboration ideas, and commercial structures
  • Support partner-led customer introductions, demos, and pilot opportunities
  • Work with the founders to define Hanomi's partnership strategy
  • Represent Hanomi in relevant industry events, conferences, and ecosystem conversations
  • Maintain a structured partner pipeline and track progress
  • Coordinate internal follow-ups after partner meetings
  • Gather market feedback from partners and share insights with the team
  • Help create partner-facing material, presentations, and communication
What you’ll need from day one
  • 5 to 9 years in partnerships, business development, channel development, strategic alliances, or enterprise sales
  • Experience working with US customers or partners
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Ability to understand technical products and identify commercial opportunitiesExperience managing long-term business relationships
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple partner conversations
  • Comfortable working in a high-ownership startup environment
  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering software, industrial technology, CAD, PLM, PDM, automation, or B2B SaaS
  • Existing network in manufacturing, industrial technology, engineering, or software ecosystems
  • Experience working with resellers, distributors, system integrators, or technology partners
  • Familiarity with technical drawings, mechanical engineering, or manufacturing workflows
What you can look forward to

You’ll help shape Hanomi’s partner ecosystem from the beginning. This is a role for someone who enjoys creating opportunities, building trust, and connecting technical products with the right commercial channels.

You’ll work directly with the founders and have the opportunity to influence how Hanomi grows, from strategic partnerships to customer introductions and market expansion.

There are no titles to wait for here. Scope grows when you show you can hold it, and we say so out loud when you do.
