Job Title

Robotics Controls Engineer

Location

Seattle, WA (100% on-site)

What You’ll Do
  • Design and implement control systems for robotic applications.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software teams for seamless integration.
  • Develop and maintain control algorithms using Codesys and PLC platforms.
  • Test, debug, and optimize systems for high performance and reliability.
  • Document designs, test plans, and user manuals.
  • Provide technical support for production environments.
  • Stay ahead of the curve with the latest in robotics and control engineering.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering field.
  • 5+ years experience in motion control systems for robotics or industrial automation.
  • Proficiency in C++, Codesys, PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
  • Strong understanding of control theory, system dynamics, and feedback systems.
  • Experience with Git and software development best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Bonus Points For
  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience with real-time systems, robotics, sensors, embedded systems.
  • Knowledge of functional safety standards (IEC 61131-3).
