Our role at SIE is to create and nurture the experiences under the PlayStation brand, a name synonymous with entertainment excellence and creativity.
Build the Cloud Foundation Behind Sony Interactive Entertainment
Every day, engineering teams across Sony Interactive Entertainment rely on the platforms we build to deliver secure, resilient, and scalable services. IT Cloud Foundations engineers the cloud capabilities that power enterprise business systems, developer platforms, and data services across the company.
Our customers are both engineers and the businesses they support. Every improvement we make to automation, reliability, security, and cloud infrastructure directly accelerates engineering teams while improving the reliability of critical business services.
The solutions we build become reusable capabilities that scale across the enterprise-not just for a single application or project.
Our mission isn't simply to manage cloud infrastructure-it's to engineer the secure, scalable cloud platform that enables Sony Interactive Entertainment to operate, innovate, and grow.
Lead Meaningful Engineering
As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Engineer, you'll lead some of our most important cloud initiatives from design through production.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll partner with Networking, Security, Identity, Database, Platform, Data, and Application Engineering teams to solve complex infrastructure challenges, mentor fellow engineers, and continuously improve how cloud services are delivered.
Whether you're designing reusable Terraform modules, expanding Kubernetes platforms, improving observability, or automating operational processes, your work will help shape the shared engineering platform that teams rely on every day.
The Challenges You'll Help Us Solve
  • How can we deliver complex infrastructure requests while continuously improving the platform for the next request?
  • How can we raise the quality of automation, observability, Kubernetes, networking, and governance across the enterprise?
  • How can we strengthen engineering partnerships while delivering business-critical cloud capabilities?
  • How can emerging technologies-including AI-improve automation, troubleshooting, documentation, and developer productivity where they create measurable value?

  • Design reusable infrastructure, automation, and platform capabilities that strengthen the shared cloud platform.
  • Advance Kubernetes/EKS, observability, governance, CI/CD, networking, and automation capabilities.
  • Partner across engineering organizations to deliver secure, scalable solutions for business-critical services.
  • Mentor engineers through design reviews, implementation guidance, troubleshooting, and knowledge sharing.
  • Evaluate AI-assisted engineering capabilities where they improve automation, operational efficiency, documentation, or delivery quality.
How We Engineer
  • Build cloud infrastructure that is secure, resilient, automated, and designed to evolve with the business.
  • Automate first whenever a pattern is repeatable.
  • Build security and governance into every solution.
  • Partner across engineering organizations to deliver better outcomes.
  • Continuously improve the platform through practical, measurable engineering.
  • Use AI where it meaningfully improves engineering outcomes.
Technology You'll Work With

  • Strong hands-on experience designing and operating AWS-based cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, automation, and CI/CD.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • AWS certifications.
Required Experience
  • Proven experience designing, implementing, and supporting AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with IaC and Terraform.
  • Experience deploying, administering, and troubleshooting Kubernetes platforms.
  • Strong automation experience using Python and/or Bash.
  • Experience designing CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application delivery.
  • Strong understanding of AWS networking including VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, VPNs, and load balancing.
  • Experience building secure, highly available, resilient cloud environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting across compute, storage, networking, and platform services.
  • Experience with CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, and/or Grafana.
  • Experience with Git-based source control and collaborative engineering practices.
  • Experience administering Linux systems in cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of IAM, encryption, secrets management, logging, and cloud security best practices.

  • Naturally look for opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve.
  • Build strong partnerships across engineering organizations.
  • Mentor others by sharing knowledge and raising engineering quality.
  • Balance technical excellence with practical business outcomes.
  • Embrace emerging technologies-including AI-when they create meaningful value.
