Job description

Playland is a FUN, SAFE, and CLEAN indoor playground and Cafe in Mooresville! We host birthday parties, and have a full on-site cafe that offers food and drink choices for all of our guests. We are looking for FUN, POSITIVE, ENERGETIC, and RESPONSIBLE people to join our team! 
Weekend availability is required. 
Part time/full time position available.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet and check in customers, handle cash register operations
  • Maintain a clean work/play environment. SAFETY and CLEANLINESS are a priority.
  • Train to be a barista, make coffee drinks and food orders
  • Supervise play areas
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Organize play areas, keep toys neat and equipment clean
  • Explain and enforce Playland facility rules and policies
  • Answer phone calls, great communication skills are required
  • Assist with birthday parties
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Cafe and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Must be at least 17 years old
  • Must be available to work most weekends
  • Ability to work in a noisy and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized
  • Ability to interact with children and adults, work cooperatively with others, and handle stressful situations
  • Physical requirements involve a combination of walking and standing. Includes climbing, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, reaching and walking on uneven surfaces
  • Must be able to pass a background check to work with children
  • Most of all, you must LOVE kids!
