• Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions targeting communication skills, language proficiency, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing functions.
• Collaborate seamlessly with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop comprehensive care strategies.
• Provide education to patients and their families to enhance treatment outcomes beyond clinical settings.
• Infrequently participate in inpatient assessments and therapy sessions, ensuring continuity in patient care throughout the therapeutic journey.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in compliance with all state, federal, and organizational requirements.
• Engage in continuous professional development, keeping abreast of the latest advancements in the field through education and peer interactions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a clinical fellowship year (CFY) if ASHA certification hasn't been obtained yet.

Licenses and Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within the first month of employment.
