The Opportunity
On behalf of our client, Beaumont Technologies, headquartered in Erie, PA, Decision Associates is seeking a Vice President of Sales and Marketing to support Beaumont's ambitious growth plans.
This is a newly created role, and the timing couldn't be better. Beaumont has the technical reputation, the customers, and the growth ambition - and is now seeking a seasoned commercial leader to shape the strategy and build the engine that drives it there. You will own the entire sales and marketing function, set the direction, and grow a high-performing team across all three business units.
Key Responsibilities
  • Commercial Strategy - Own Beaumont's integrated sales and marketing strategy across all product and service lines, including training, consulting, engineering services, MeltFlipperยฎ, Therma-Floโ„ข, and the AIM Institute.
  • Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth - Lead, mentor, and develop the sales organization to hit revenue and profitability targets. Implement scalable sales processes, pipeline management, and forecasting discipline.
  • Customer Retention & Re-Engagement - Build and execute a plan to re-engage Beaumont's existing customer base and drive repeat business across all three companies.
  • Channel & Partner Development - Design and launch a structured channel partner program, including reps and distributors, with clear expectations and accountability.
  • Marketing & Demand Generation - Direct integrated marketing campaigns, trade show presence, brand positioning, and sales enablement materials. Guide the creative and marketing team to elevate Beaumont's market visibility.
  • Team Building - Directly lead existing team members in new business development, technical sales, and marketing/creative roles. Hire and develop additional sales staff as the business grows.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner closely with Engineering, Finance, Operations, and AIM Institute leadership to align commercial goals with technical capabilities.
  • Reporting & Governance - Oversee CRM governance, KPI reporting, and pipeline accuracy. Build the incentive and compensation structure for the sales team.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of progressive sales, marketing, or commercial leadership experience, including team leadership
  • Proven success building and executing commercial strategy in an industrial, manufacturing, or engineered products environment
  • Background in plastics engineering, injection molding, or advanced manufacturing is strongly preferred; deep technical aptitude is essential
  • Experience managing channel partners, rep networks, or distributors
  • Track record of driving revenue growth, scalable processes, and customer retention
  • Strong presence and ability to influence across functions and organizational levels
  • Collaborative team player who welcomes different perspectives and drives alignment through transparency
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • If not already local, open to relocation to Erie, PA and becoming a fully embedded member of the Beaumont Team.
