Individually and together, our employees are dedicated to satisfying the mission of our organization which is an unwavering commitment to excellence as we care for the sick and injured; educate physicians, nurses and other health care providers; and improve access to care in the communities we serve, regardless of a patient's ability to pay for health care.The Senior Events Coordinator, Head Professional and Data Analyst - Head Professional is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of tournaments, special events, instructional programming, player development initiatives, instructor oversight, and operational analytics for Pickleball Lehigh Valley at the St. Luke's SportsPlex.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the PLV Manager and SportsPlex Team by developing a comprehensive portfolio of clinics, leagues, lessons as well as tournaments, and special events.

  • Establishes a highly coordinated and collaborative Team from the instructors, staff and ambassadors for executing pickleball programs and events at the St. Luke's SportsPlex.

  • Supports the Manager with developing and submitting all financial reports and accounting.

  • Designs and coordinates assigned special events including but not limited to a junior/high school academy, player development institute and integrated social events.

  • Develops the communications and staffing models for Pickleball Lehigh Valley hosted tournaments and events.

  • Along with the PLV Manager, they serve as a primary person for monitoring and updating the facility's court reservation and booking system. Reviews data and provides recommendations for future programming, events and related changes to membership categories.

  • Develops along with the PLV Manager and Network Marketing all materials, mailings, emails, and social media posts related to Pickleball Lehigh Valley.

  • Ensures the SportsPlex Staff records and tracks special events and programs; develops an inventory for future use.

  • Manages and reports on expenses and revenues for special events/programs assigned to ascertain the cost / benefit analysis.

  • Along with the PLV Manager, ensures all special event and program logistics and requirements are tracked, maintained, and completed in a timely manner.

PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:

Sitting for up to eight hours per day, up to four hours at a time. Standing or walking for up to three hours per day, one hour at a time. Some bending, some reaching above shoulder level. Frequent fingering and handling while typing or writing. Lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds. Hearing as it applies to normal conversation and telephone use. Seeing as it relates to normal and peripheral vision.

EDUCATION:

College degree and relevant experience in sport and marketing programs.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 5 Years of Professional Experience in racquet sports or a closely related area is required. 10 years preferred. High-energy individual with an appreciation for sports and special events. Experience running sport programs, tournaments. Outstanding customer service skills required. Excellent communication skills required. Must have proficient computer skills. Organized and detail oriented. CPR certification is required within first 30 days of start date.
