Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Casino Host will manage all aspects of a customer journey while on property, simultaneously coordinating with Executive Casino Hosts on pre- and post-trip planning. You will report to the Director of Player Development.
Must be fluent in Spanish.
Primary Tasks:
1. The primary tasks for the Casino Host include the execution of Player Greets on the gaming floor, social events, special promotions, and concerts, which includes managing the event ticketing process.
2. The Casino Host will help identify new guests on the casino floor who meet the hosting criteria, while ensuring that the focus remains on currently hosted guests.
3. They are also responsible for resolving service failures when encountered, taking immediate action to fill service gaps, and cementing player loyalty with our VIP Guests.
4. In difficult situations, they must resolve issues with guests in a calm, professional, and prudent manner.
5. You will evaluate a player's current and potential worth according to the parameters of the compensating guidelines to build loyalty and maximize return on investment.
6. It is expected that 90% of their time is to be spent greeting and acknowledging VIP Guests on the casino floor while providing superior guest service.
7. As a Casino Host you will enforce compliance of all applicable rules, regulations, laws and policies.
8. Identify methods to increase efficiency and improve products or services.
9. Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
  • Knowledge of standard computer applications.
  • Demonstrate a knowledge of marketing, promotions and overall casino knowledge.
  • You must have decision-making skills, along with the ability to resolve escalated guest issues.
  • Two (2) years prior customer service-related experience.

Responsibilities
1. You will provide guest service including greeting guests in the casino, participating in social events/special promotions and making transportation and accommodation arrangements observing the players' needs.
2. Manage database of mid-level players to build loyalty and produce repeat business while identifying new players on the casino who meet the hosting criteria.
3. Resolve service failures; take immediate action to resolve service gaps and cement player loyalty by using comp authority or making exceptions.
4. Resolve difficult situations with guests.
5. You will evaluate a players current and potential worth according to the parameters of the comp guidelines to build loyalty and maximize return on investment.
6. Manage hotel fill quota, Rev Par goals and coordination with Executive Host Team, and other employees.
7. You will enforce compliance of all applicable rules, regulations, laws and policies.
8. Identify methods to increase efficiencies and improve products or services.
9. Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of standard computer applications.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of casino marketing, and regular high-limit customers and their betting habits to make knowledgeable decisions regarding comps.
  • Must have decision-making and become knowledgeable of the hotel and casino, including all events, attractions and restaurants
  • Overall knowledge of casino operations.
  • Two (2) years prior customer service-related experience
