Job description

Who We Are:

Aldridge is a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) offering scalable IT and cybersecurity solutions to fast-growing, small to mid-market businesses in the US. Founded in 1984, this private equity-backed company is a technology management consulting, and outsourcing firm that provides best-fit solutions through a tailored approach and local relationships. With offices in Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio, and Seattle, the company’s unwavering dedication, superior technical expertise, and keen understanding of business processes have transformed it into a trusted partner for its clients. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality services, Aldridge is committed to helping its clients optimize their technology infrastructure and achieve their business goals.

Business Development Representative:

The mission of the Business Development Representative is to initiate new relationships that generate Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) revenue in assigned markets. This role involves consistent outreach through calls and emails to secure appointments with qualified prospects. At Aldridge, our sales model is Account Executive-led—meaning a senior seller will often join the BDR on pre-qualified appointments. The BDR is responsible for identifying opportunities, setting those appointments, and maintaining a steady flow of activity to support revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Prospecting & Outreach

  • Conduct cold and warm calls, direct emails, and social media outreach to prospects using Aldridge’s CRM (HubSpot)
  • Create and manage prospecting lists using ZoomInfo and research on associations and events relevant to Aldridge’s Target Client Profile (TCP)
  • Attend networking events to build new connections
  • Call on and engage in high-level conversations with C-level executives
  • Be highly responsive to prospects and customers

Lead Qualification & Appointment Setting

  • Pre-qualify prospects to identify those who meet Aldridge’s criteria
  • Set qualified first-time appointments with decision-makers
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings between prospect executives and Aldridge Account Executives
  • Record action items and follow-ups from prospect interactions

CRM & Process Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of contacts, leads, and opportunities in HubSpot
  • Track all prospecting activity in the CRM
  • Manage the sales process for assigned leads through handoff to an Account Executive
  • Learn and follow Aldridge’s sales process and methodology

Professionalism & Accountability

  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Aldridge services
  • Be openly accountable by clearly stating commitments and following through
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An eagerness to learn, curious and customer-centric
  • A “Go Getter” attitude, highly motivated to achieve and exceed targets
  • A commitment to team and company success, a team player who wants to contribute and learn from others
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree or a combination of experience and education

Preferences:

  • Experience in a fast-paced prospecting/outbound sales development role
  • 1+ years of experience in an IT Sales related environment
  • Passion for sales and technology
  • HubSpot or other CRM experience

Hybrid work schedule:

  • Optional work from home days are Mondays and Fridays
  • Required in-office days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays

Additional Requirements

  • Physical ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods
  • Must be comfortable with periodically lifting 25 pounds
  • Must be able to work in one of Aldridge offices in DFW, Houston, San Antonio or Seattle

Aldridge Core Values:

  • Build Trust – We continuously earn the trust of our partners through genuine, transparent communication, and unflinching accountability.
  • Take Swift, Meaningful Action – When every second matters, we drill to the core question and act decisively.
  • Create Best-Fit Solutions – More is not better – We create the most value for the least added overhead and complexity.
  • Evolve & Improve – We know the power of a growth mindset. We do not let fear of failure stop us from finding new, and better ways to do things.

Benefits:

  • Competitive Salary and Incentive Plan
  • Generous Employer Contribution to Health Benefits Package
  • 401(k) Matching
  • 4 Weeks Paid Time Off per year, plus additional days for community service
  • Ongoing Training and Professional Development Opportunities
  • Free Snacks and Beverages!
