Job description

PlayDate Behavioral Interventions has an opening for a qualified pediatric professional in the field of Speech-Language Pathology! Our collaborative team is dedicated to serving children ages 0-18. We ensure lack of funding is not a barrier to services and have provided over $3 million in scholarship and pro bono services in the Colorado Springs area.
We are seeking a motivated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide this essential service to children with various diagnoses. We provide a variety of services in one location to decrease stress on caregivers and increase multidisciplinary collaboration. Candidates should be licensed as a SLP in Colorado and be able to work independently as well as with a multidisciplinary team of professionals.


This is a highly collaborative environment. This position allows you to set your own schedule. Individuals qualified for this position should have background and extensive knowledge in the field of speech-language pathology and preferably 2 years of experience working with children with developmental disabilities, including autism, as well as 1 year of experience overseeing/training staff. Salary is based on experience. Signing bonus of $2500! $38-40 per hour with ALL WORK HOURS PAID AT SAME RATE INCLUDING NON-BILLABLE AND TRAINING. We also provide free on-site childcare to employees.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical treatment to patients including screenings, evaluations, and developing individualized treatment plans

  • Provide skilled speech therapy services and intervention to pediatric clients (0-18) including but not limited to: receptive language, expressive language, articulation, augmentative-alternative communication, fluency, social communication, feeding and swallowing disorders

  • Provide family/caregiver training and support 

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation 

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care

  • Provide training and support to non-speech therapy professionals 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Colorado SLP License

  • Special needs: 1 year (Preferred)

  • Pediatrics: 1 year (Preferred)

  • SLP Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
