Early Childhood Program Assistant

As a nonprofit, our mission is to provide personalized intervention plans for communication, emotional disorders, and learning disabilities, while treating each child with respect and care. As an Early Childhood Program Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our team and helping us achieve our goal of making a difference in the lives of these deserving children.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of individualized intervention plans for children

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a comprehensive approach to each child's care

  • Provide support to families

  • Monitor and document progress

  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

  • Implement strategies to improve communication and collaboration among team members

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., early childhood education, special education, psychology) preferred

  • Experience working with children with special needs, preferably in a therapy or educational setting

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with families, team members, and other professionals

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent interruptions and varying priorities

  • Familiarity with behavioral intervention plans and strategies a plus
