Job description

Waialae Country Club is a private membership club, which provides its members with a championship golf course, dining services,ย  health/recreational facilities and hosts the PGA Tour's Sony Open in Hawaii. Waialae Country Club is recognized as a Platinum Club of America, Honorable Mention Platinum Club of the World and is designated as a Distinguished Club with ELITE status by BoardRoom Magazine.
Position: Part-Time Hostย 
Department: Food & Beverage
Reports to: Director of Food & Beverage/Food & Beverage Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcomes members and guests in a warm and friendly manner.
  • Assists with seating guests and providing menus.
  • Oversees online reservation system and assists with making reservations in-person, by phone, and by email.
  • Monitors and directs the flow of traffic in the dining room.
  • Responds to member and guest inquiries.
  • Assists with opening, closing, and side duties as needed.

Shifts:ย 
  • Daytime Host: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Tuesdays - Sundaysย 
  • Evening Host: 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Wednesdays - Sundaysย 

Requirements:
  • Must have 1-3 months of related experience. Previous food and beverage service experience preferred.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays.ย
