Job description

The Inspector racks and un-racks customer parts for the plating process, inspects them to ensure they meet quality requirements, and packages the finished parts for shipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Loads parts onto process racks, removes finished parts, and performs visual quality inspections.
  • Thickness gauges, thread gauges and pin gauges may be used to ensure dimensional requirements are met
  • Removes masking and/or plugs from parts as required by customer specifications
  • Makes recommendations for improvements
  • Tracks and records work order information in computer
  • Follows safety guidelines, achieves and maintains quality and productivity standards, maintains an acceptable dependability level, and must not pose risk to self or others
  • Qualifications:
  • Ability to perform visual inspection on parts after processing to ensure quality requirements are met
  • Ability to use small hand tools
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced team environment and receive direction from others
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions, and work well with others
  • Able to work while standing during your shift
  • Ability to lift parts and push carts up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to wear gloves and safety glasses
  • Day Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

    Wage: $21.00/hour
