Job description

About the Role

We are building a global consumer-facing feed product from the ground up, and we are looking for a Content & Creator Operations Specialist who sits at the intersection of creator relationships, content quality, and user growth.

In this role, you will own the full content and creator ecosystem - from finding and nurturing the right creators, to shaping the content that lives on our feed, to measuring how that content drives real user growth. This is a rare end-to-end role that connects the people who make content with the users who consume it.

This is a hands-on, builder role for someone who understands both the human side of creator relationships and the data side of content performance. You will move fast, operate with high autonomy, and have direct visibility into how your work shapes the product.

A Day in the Life

  • Build and manage relationships with creators, KOLs, and content suppliers - from initial outreach through to long-term partnership health
  • Define what good content looks like for our feed, and source or produce content that meets that bar
  • Oversee the end-to-end content pipeline - curation, production, supplier management, and quality control
  • Develop and execute data-driven strategies to grow creator engagement, content performance, and daily active users
  • Analyse content performance data to iterate on formats, topics, and sourcing approaches
  • Drive community development initiatives, with focus on building engaged creator and user communities
  • Stay ahead of platform trends, creator economy shifts, and user behaviour to keep the feed fresh and competitive
  • Contribute to the team playbook - documenting processes, frameworks, and operational best practices

The Impact You'll Make

  • Build a content and creator foundation that drives daily active use and long-term retention of the feed product
  • Establish scalable processes for creator onboarding, content production, curation, and supplier management across markets
  • Grow a healthy creator ecosystem - engaged, monetised, and compliant with platform standards
  • Influence product development with a ground-level understanding of what makes content engaging in a feed environment
  • Help shape the platform’s role in the global creator and content ecosystem from day one

Responsibilities

Creator & Community

  • Manage the full creator lifecycle - onboarding, incubation, engagement, and long-term retention
  • Develop and execute KOL strategy, identifying creators who align with the platform’s voice and growth goals
  • Build and nurture creator and user communities, with sensitivity to cultural and demographic nuances
  • Ensure platform compliance across creator activity, maintaining a safe and high-quality environment
  • Develop sustainable monetisation pathways for creators on the platform

Content Operations

  • Design and execute the content strategy for the feed - balancing quality, localisation, and scalability
  • Produce and oversee high-quality visual and video content tailored for feed consumption and engagement
  • Source, onboard, and manage relationships with content suppliers, agencies, and licensing partners
  • Curate content to maintain a consistent, engaging, and platform-appropriate feed experience
  • Build and maintain the team’s operational playbook and content frameworks

Growth & Analytics

  • Track and analyse content performance data to iterate on formats, topics, and sourcing strategies
  • Develop data-driven approaches to grow user retention, feed engagement, and daily active users
  • Contribute insights on feed personalisation and content ranking to product and engineering teams
  • Monitor platform trends and creator economy shifts to proactively adapt the content strategy

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of experience spanning creator operations, content operations, or community management - ideally across more than one of these areas
  • Proven track record managing creator or supplier relationships, with strong negotiation and partnership skills
  • Strong content instincts - you know what makes content engaging in a feed environment and can articulate why
  • Data-informed and comfortable using analytics to guide decisions (engagement metrics, A/B testing, content CMS tools)
  • Globally minded - you understand cultural nuances in content consumption and can adapt strategies across markets
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage complex cross-functional projects
  • Builder mindset - you create structure and processes in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
  • Experience working within a global or international team while maintaining a clear regional focus

Nice to Have

  • Experience working on a 0-to-1 consumer product or platform
  • Background in short-form video, social platforms, or feed-based products
  • Familiarity with growth loops, virality mechanics, and lifecycle content strategies
  • Experience scaling creator programs or content operations across international markets
  • Understanding of platform monetisation models for creators

Why Join This Venture

  • This is more than an ops role - it is a chance to define the voice, community, and content engine of a new global product inside an industry leader
  • Own the full creator-to-user loop, with visibility into how your work directly drives product growth
  • Enjoy the autonomy and impact of a startup, backed by AppLovin’s resources, technology, and expertise
  • Work with a lean, talented team that values speed, creativity, and ecosystem thinking
  • High visibility from day one, with real opportunities to shape strategy and grow into a lead role
