We are looking for an Operations Manager with a passion for leadership, a knack for problem-solving, and the ability to thrive in ambiguity. You will lead and inspire a large, diverse team to hit business goals for your market.
You will be an integral part of building a collaborative, safe, and fun culture in the warehouse. Alongside leading a large team, you will also drive business processes improvements that will focus on keeping our bikes safe, charged, and ready for our customers to ride 24/7.
What You'll Do:
  • Build a team of highly efficient and motivated operations associates in your market by creating people-focused strategies
  • Define hiring needs, train new hourly teammates, and motivate our hourly associates in the Field Operations & Recovery Teams
  • Manage your team's performance - including rewarding and disciplining employees, and address staffing needs
  • Act as a hands-on leader, including managing timecards and attendance and dispatching drivers
  • Track and report performance metrics and use data to optimize processes and track results of your market
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and scoping out projects to pitch to the General Manager
  • Keep the business running - define and execute key business processes that maintain continued success
  • Be a culture carrier. Create a fun, inclusive, and safe workplace

What You'll Need
  • 3+ years in management, operations, finance, business, or management consulting
  • Bias towards action - desire to roll up your sleeves and get the job done
  • Experience managing and leading large, diverse, operational teams, many in hourly or part-time roles
  • Experience using Excel to track and manipulate data
  • Passion for management and improving the employee experience
  • Proven experience solving complex problems, exercising good judgment, and navigating ambiguous environments

Nice to have
  • Deep Excel knowledge, utilizing pivot tables, charts, and medium to advanced formulas
  • SQL experience
  • Experience presenting in front of large group as a Subject-Matter-Expert
