Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid near The Battery)
The Opportunity
A growing investment management firm is hiring a Client Results Platform Engineer to own the systems and data that determine what clients ultimately see.
This role sits at the core of the client relationship, responsible for ensuring that performance, reporting, and portfolio data are accurate, consistent, and fully defensible. You will build and evolve the platform that powers reconciliations, performance outputs, and reporting integrity.
This is a builder role. You will not inherit a finished systemyou will help design and scale it. The mandate is to move from manual, reactive processes to a modern, automated, and intelligence-driven platform using data, automation, and emerging AI capabilities.
What Youll Do

Performance calculations
NAVs and cash flows
Reconciliations and corporate actions
Ensure outputs are consistent, explainable, and audit-ready
Design and evolve the client data platform
Build workflows that connect operations, performance, and reporting
Define data architecture and system design across client results processes
Establish scalable foundations for long-term growth
Develop controls and validation frameworks
Identify and resolve breaks across systems and datasets
Build automated checks and monitoring for key data flows
Shift the function from reactive issue resolution to proactive control
Introduce intelligent systems and automation
Implement tools to detect anomalies and flag exceptions
Explore AI-assisted workflows for reconciliation and validation
Reduce reliance on manual QA and spreadsheet-driven processes
Drive process redesign
Evaluate existing workflows and challenge legacy assumptions
Simplify and standardize processes across teams
Replace fragmented tooling with cohesive, scalable systems
Partner cross-functionally
Work across investment, trading, operations, compliance, and technology
Align stakeholders around a single source of truth for client data
Support broader front-to-back system integration

What You Bring
Experience in investment operations or performance environments
Asset management, hedge funds, or institutional finance
Exposure to performance, NAVs, reconciliations, or client reporting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to trace data issues across systems and identify root causes
Comfort evaluating tradeoffs in complex, evolving environments
Systems and platform mindset
Experience improving workflows, controls, or data architecture
Interest in building systems, not just maintaining processes
Technical fluency (varies by background)
Exposure to data tools, SQL, or workflow automation is a plus
Comfort working alongside engineering teams and data systems
Understanding of the performance lifecycle
How trades, positions, and cash flows translate into client reporting
Where breakdowns occur and how they impact downstream outputs
Strong communication and ownership
Ability to translate data issues into business impact
Willingness to challenge assumptions and drive change

Preferred Experience
Familiarity with financial platforms such as:
FactSet, Bloomberg, Aladdin, Charles River, SimCorp, Advent/Geneva, Eagle, Enfusion, FIS

Exposure to:
Reconciliation processes
Data governance and controls
Workflow automation or process redesign initiatives

Why This Role
Ownership of the data and systems that underpin client trust
Opportunity to rebuild a critical function from the ground up
Direct impact on accuracy, risk, and client experience
Broad exposure across investment, trading, and operational teams
Environment focused on systems thinking, automation, and continuous improvement
