Job description

Your Future Team

At Altium, we ask a simple question: โ€œWhat would we want if we were clients?โ€

Our answer shapes everything we do. As a fast-growing RIA, we go beyond traditional wealth managementโ€”partnering with clients to build and manage portfolios that support the lives they envision for themselves, their families, and their communities.

The Role

Altium is seeking a Trading Operations / Investment Platform Analyst to join our investment platform team. The team oversees approximately $9B in client assets through a combination of systems, workflows, and operational processes. As a fast-growing firm with an entrepreneurial spirit, we offer an environment where individuals are encouraged to think critically, take initiative, and contribute beyond their immediate responsibilities. This role provides direct exposure to investment decision-making processes, as well as close collaboration with both the trading team and advisors managing high-net-worth client portfolios.

The individual will initially work closely with a senior trader to gain hands-on experience across all aspects of the platform. Over time, the role will evolve into one with increasing autonomy and ownership, including the ability to identify opportunities, improve processes, and think creatively about portfolio implementation.

We are committed to promoting career progression across the organization. Strong performers who demonstrate initiative, sound judgment, and consistent execution will have ongoing opportunities for growth and expanded responsibility within the firm. This is an opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, analytically strong, and motivated to learn in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Our Principles

Our culture is grounded in five core principles shared by both our team and our clients:

  • Envision a brighter future
  • Seek truth
  • Commit to excellence
  • Embrace relationships
  • Lead selflessly

We believe each individual possesses a unique strengthโ€”a โ€œgeniusโ€โ€”that, when developed, becomes a powerful driver of purpose, fulfillment, and long-term success.

ย

Please note this position requires you to be in the office Monday-Friday

What You'll Do

  • Partner with advisors to implement and maintain client portfolios

  • Monitor account-level filters to identify trading opportunities and ensure alignment with portfolio objectives
  • Produce ad hoc trade and portfolio reports as needed
  • Maintain and ensure data integrity across multiple investment and operational systems
  • Collaborate with internal teams, custodians, broker-dealers, and third-party vendors to support efficient platform operations
  • Assist with trade settlement and reconciliation processes

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred
  • 3-10+ years of experience in financial services, ideally in trading support or operations
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with platforms such as EZE, Black Diamond, Bloomberg, Salesforce, or other OMS/EMS tools is a plus

What We Offer

  • Coverage on the first day of employment for medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid parental leave (16 weeks for primary caregiver and 8 weeks for secondary caregiver)
  • 401k matching plan
  • HSA employer contributions
  • Student loan assistance
  • Pet insurance
  • Salary range- $95,000- $120,000 plus discretionary bonus (exact amount is dependent on experience)ย
